Pretty in Pescara

Get ready to explore one of the wealthiest, most dynamic cities in Abruzzese, Italy. Pescara, is the largest city in Abruzzese, and has much to boast about along its sandy shores.

The Adriatic Coast is home to many beautiful beachside towns, but if your looking for 20km of uninterrupted beaches, than Pescara is the town for you. This beach-side town is home to the International Jazz Festival in July, the Festivity of the Madonna dei Sette Dolori in May and a feast honouring Sant’Andrea the Apostle, where a famous parade of fishing motorboats sail off the coast. All of that, wrapped with cathedrals, museums, shops, restaurants and a gigantic piazza along with its perfectly manicured beaches are what draw tourists from around the world.

One of the lovely things about Pescara is its restaurants and promenade that flow along the sand, and the umbrellas that line sea. The umbrellas are a thing of perfection, as during those scorching hot summer days, you’ll want to take in a little shade or lye on one of the drawn out lounge chairs. With many locals and tourists firmly planting their picnic along the shore, you’ll be immersed between kids frolicking in the sand, ladies lounging around and a soccer ball or two being juggled around the mass of people.

Pescara is known for its beauty along the shore, along with its wealth exuding through the streets. The friendly folks you’ll find here will be dressed to the nines, whether on the beach or strolling through the boutiques. Take to the beach to enjoy a perfect vacation all the most beautiful seashore.
