Posted on: June 3rd, 2014 by admin No Comments

The mountains are calling and you must go. Whistler, located in the mountains of British Columbia, is probably one of the most picture perfect places you will ever explore. When we ventured off to Whistler, we literally felt like we were in a postcard type world. Everyone had a smile on their faces, the mountains were so breathtaking and the resorts, restaurants and shops had that quaint feel to them.

Noosa’s Brilliant Coast

Posted on: January 29th, 2013 by admin No Comments

Noosa, a region nestled in the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia is a flawless spot that showcases its beauty through the natural side of things. As you drive up along the coast to Noosa, you’ll be immersed in the beauty of the ocean and brilliance of a quaint town all wrapped into one.

Spend the day at the beach to soak up the hot Australian sun-rays, hiking through The Noosa National Park, shopping and eating on Hastings Street, travel along the Noosa River, go surfing, whale-watching, horseback riding along the shore or enjoy some old-fashioned hospitality in Noosa North Shore. The options here are really endless, its like you get everything in one perfectly knit package no matter what your interests are. Of course, you’ll want to embark on a whole lot of journeys as you spend a week or two in Noosa as The Everglades are picturesque, the Noosa River is one of the best spots in town to set up a picnic along its lovely shore, and a visit to Mount Timbeerwah Lookout is a must. The lookout offers spectacular 360-degree views of Noosa and the surrounding hinterlands.

One of the things I loved about Noosa is that laid-back beachside yet, with a twist of sophistication. The second we pulled up our rental car to The Noosa National Park, the views of the beach were just calling our name. And so, we listened to the call, and spent the day hiking through the park, heading up to the lookout and finally hanging out on a beach. Though my stint in Noosa was short, it’s certainly a place I’m looking forward to getting back to.
