The One & Only NYC

New York is like its own little world. It’s like that one spot where you can go, spend your days and nights filled with exploration and adventure any which way. Here is a list of my favourite spots of NYC, if you’re as artsy, and culturally engaged as I am while living in The City I hope you’ll love these spots as much as I do.

First things first, if you love art, go to The MOMA, The Met, The Guggenheim or walk down 10th Avenue around 23rd street and check out the small, yet powerful galleries along the streets. One of the beautiful things about New York is that art is displayed anywhere you look.

Travel up high on The Highline, stroll through Central Park, or stop and take a second to smell the flowers along the Hudson River. One of my morning traditions was to walk down to The Hudson, go for a run and stretch out on the grass.

Explore Brooklyn. These two words are going to haunt you forever if you don’t walk over The Brooklyn Bridge or take a subway across the way. Explore the markets, paint pottery, or walk through the botanical gardens, whatever you do, be sure you visit Brooklyn, it’s eclectic nature is perfect in my eyes.

Spend an afternoon in a café. No matter what café you choose to rest in, you’ll need to after spending your morning on 5th Avenue most likely breaking your budget.

If you’re looking for me to tell you about the best restaurant in The City, I’m going to tell you right now I have too many favourites to pick just one. What I loved about NYC is that it caters to everyone, everywhere. From everything to Tiam Falafel & Smoothie Bar, to Eataly, anywhere you go, you’ll have some of the best food..ever!

Go up the Empire State Building, watch a Knicks game, explore Central Park, take a boat cruise to The Statue of Liberty, go to Times Square. This City is all about inspiring its tourists, and that it truly does.
