What A Darling Harbour

Harbours really are a beautiful thing. There most likely are abundance of attractions, eateries and shops around a harbour, and boast a whole boatload of adventure awaiting you. At The Darling Harbour in the city centre of Sydney, Australia you’ll be twisting and turning every which way to take in the beauty of each sight.

As I embarked on my journey to The Darling Harbour, I already planned out what I wanted to do, go to Paddy’s Markets, take a boat cruise, check out The Powerhouse Museum, The Sydney Aquarium, do some shopping and enjoy the quaint and quiet of Sydney’s Chinese Friendship Gardens. Of course, when I stepped foot at the brink of the harbour I was exposed to a whole lot of brilliance and adventure around each corner. I of course, ensured I ticked every adventure off of my Sydney Bucket List, but was eager to explore the ins and outs of The Harbour itself. And so I took also to The Darling Quarter Playground, walked through The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, watched an LG IMAX movie on the largest screen in the world and strolled through The Australian National Maritime Museum.

What I thoroughly enjoyed about The Darling Harbour was the fact that you literally could just sit on a park bench, grab an ice cream and watch the hoards of tourists walking along the harbour and watch as the boats docked and carried new passengers into the calm waters. Darling Harbour, is such a darling harbour because it doesn’t boast about the attractions, it displays them thoughtfully and each one is so captivating that you’ll want to venture into each unknown spot the second you embark on your journey through this darling harbour.
